About Shank 2nd Gen Auto

With over 25 years of experience we can handle most any automotive repair. Some of our services include oil changes, brakes, starters, alternators, fuel pumps, tune-ups, batteries, heating and cooling systems, exhaust, collision repair, paint, full restorations, detailing, car audio installation, and part locator. I started Shank 2nd Gen Auto after my late Uncle William (Billy) Shank. He had over 30 years of knowledge and experience in the automotive industry, mainly as a mechanic. Growing up he taught my brother and I how to work on vehicles. Every weekend we would go out to his house and play with our own vehicles and/or other family members or friends vehicles. He taught me how to change oil, brakes, do a tune-up, and multiple other mechanical issues. He did not like body work, so he taught me how to do that. I enjoyed the body work side of the automotive industry, so I got a job at a body shop while I was living in Virginia Beach.
