About Sensory TKD

SENSORY TAEKWON-DO Sensory Tae-Kwon-Do is a unique Therapeutic Martial Arts program for children on the spectrum, or with behavioral and/or learning disabilities. It is a breakthrough doctor supervised martial arts program custom-designed around each child's neurological requirements and needs. The core of this program is extracted from cutting-edge neurological studies that incorporate movement exercise to help create healthier pathways in the brain. Therapeutic mind-body activities stimulate the brain improving balance, muscle strength, coordination, self-awareness, executive functions, and working memory. We call this the bottom-up foundation approach and has proven far more successful in accelerating development.
