About Seattle Neurofeedback

A type of biofeedback, neurofeedback provides brain activity feedback to support healthy brain function. Electrical activity from the brain is collected via sensors placed on the scalp using electroencephalography (EEG), with feedback presented using sound or video displays. Evidence supports the use of neurofeedback to treat many mental disorders like ADD/ADHD panic attacks, learning disorders and social disorders. This practice has been around for nearly five decades, isn't invasive, doesn't involve drugs, and it is typically a multisession treatment option. It usually takes a few months to complete. The Neurofeedback program sees results in as high as 80%, often with remarkable and lasting effects.
