About Salao Cuban Bar & Pescaderia

Born from Ernest Hemingway's love affair with Cuba, Sala'o Cuban Bar & Pescaderia, located off of SW 8th Street in Miami, Florida, was inspired by the rich Cuban cuisine that has won the hearts of locals and tourists alike. As Hemingway found a deep connection with Cuba, our goal is to create that same experience for others. By introducing a new take on fresh, one-of-a-kind pescaderia to Little Havana not only are we bringing The Old Man and the Sea to life, but we are showing pride in our country and in our culture. Our restaurant embraces the sea and in doing so, we embrace our family, our heritage, and the very best ingredients the coast of Florida has to offer.
