Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to dog training. Each dog and owner are evaluated on what training they need and then a training package is customized to meet their needs. We use a mix of marker training, free shaping, and classical and operant conditioning to establish real-world, measurable, and reliable obedience and control. Clear communication and expectations are the key to a happy life with your dog. Brady is the owner and head trainer of Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs. He has spent the past 16 years in the Special Operations community as a medic and K9 handler/trainer. After a few years of being a K9 handler, he became more involved in the training aspect and began running the training program for his unit’s working dogs. Brady has spent countless hours training, preparing and deploying dogs in an operational environment and his experiences have shown him the importance of obedience and control in dogs, whether they’re working, sporting or simply enjoying life as a pet. Brady has been training puppies and adult dogs for detection for the past six years. He currently breeds working Labradors for detection, search and rescue, hunting and service roles. This experience introduced him to a variety of trainers and led him to a career in private pet training, particularly boarding and training. In addition to training dogs, Brady teaches canine medical courses for police, military, trainers, and pet dog owners. He has worked with over 100 different agencies and taught courses all over the world. Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs serves ALL of Colorado with training needs.
