"The majority of our pain medicine patients come to us after experiencing chronic pain persisting over six months. Our practice is recognized by the local medical community as a center of excellence for its management of complex and challenging pain cases. We believe that the goals of treatment should be meaningful to the patient and provide attention to realistic pain relief while staying focused on improving functional activities of daily living components. These goals are best accomplished via a multispecialty clinic approach. We provide a range of minimally invasive interventions on-site, including fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injections, nerve blocks, or ablations, to help reduce pain, improve function, and facilitate physical therapy. If patients continue to have an impaired function or suboptimal quality of life due to their chronic pain, we assess them for possible spinal cord stimulator implantation after a successful trial or an intrathecal pain pump implantation.
