About Mathnasium

Mathnasium was founded in 2002 based on the extensive work of Larry Martinek, a classroom teacher working in California. Larry saw a serious disconnect between the students' basic skills training and the curriculum they were expected to master in the years to come. Larry's work addressing this issue has become the Mathnasium Method, a powerful tool providing children all over the world increased confidence, critical thinking skills, and mathematical ability to last a lifetime.
