About MW Chaps

M. W. Chaps is a one-person operation, that's me Mary Williamson. I have been working with leather for over 25 years. Of all of the things I can make with leather, I like making chaps the best. Chaps are very personal, people wear them and if they do not like them they will not wear them. My goal is to make a pair of chaps the customer is proud to wear. Most of my chaps are custom made, they must look good and they must feel good. I start with the best materials. I use #1 Grade A (top grain) Leather, StainLess Steel Hardware (no rivets) and the only thing I do with a machine is sew. Everything is hand cut made to order.I draw all of the tooling myself so each one is different. Since I do it all myself, I will answer to any problems myself.
