About EMDR Professional Training

EMDR Professional Training is headed by a team of clinicians, namely Curt Rouanzoin and Michelle Gottlieb, who practice and impart professional training on EMDR therapy to other therapists and mental health practitioners to help grow their practice. EMDR, a powerful therapy, can make an incredible difference in the lives of your clients, while strengthening your practice at the same time. Participants of the EMDR Professional Training walk away from the training with confidence in their abilities to heal trauma. EMDR Basic Training, a part of EMDR Professional Training, is completed over three weekends — 2-1/2 days each weekend – for a total of 57 hours of training. This adds up to more hours of training than EMDRIA, an EMDR member organization, and requires a lower cost than many other organizations. After the completion of training, participants gain access to taped videos and lectures. Further, consultation is built into the three weekends, thereby not making it necessary to find consultations beyond the basic training. By the time the third weekend of EMDR Basic Training closes, participants complete the course. EMDR Professional Training also provides Advanced Trainings/CEs to the trained EMDR clinicians. The CEs are made available live and online, and courses can be completed on demand. An EMDR Certification Training module is also offered for those clinicians seeking to become Certified in EMDR Therapy as well.
