About Dr. Maria Maranga, DDS
Dr. Maria Maranga is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry. For over 30 yrs. she has maintained a private practice and coupled that with giving back by teaching at several NYC hospitals and the VA at Northport. Dr. Maranga is a national speaker on endodontics and leadership. She has been on faculty at both Stony Brook and NYU Dental Schools where she teaches microsurgical endodontics. She is a Past President of the Suffolk County Dental Society and the NYS Association of Endodontists. She sits on several state and national boards dealing with oral health issues but she is best known for mentoring students and residents both here and outside of the NY area. She was awarded Top 25 Women in Dentistry and twice awarded Top 50 Long Island Business Women. Dr. Maranga is a graduate of the American Dental Association's Diversity Institute and is the Academic Affairs Director of the American Association of Women Dentists.
