About Cranston Substance Abuse Taskforce

The Cranston Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force (CSAPTF) was formerly run by the City of Cranston and is now operated by the Comprehensive Community Action Program (CCAP). The goals of the task force are to assess the needs of the residents of the City of Cranston in order to develop a substance abuse program to help with the risks associated with alcohol, drugs, and tobacco products. The CSAPTF has developed into a cohesive and coordinated stakeholder group committed to increasing community education about substance abuse while decreasing at-risk substance abuse behavior.
