About Calvary Bible Church
We are a Bible-believing church that worships our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, praying for God to be glorified and us to serve Him by faith, loving each other & sharing the Gospel with all. We believe that God has given us four purposes: to know (experience) Him (John 17:3), to become like Him (Romans 12:2), to love through Him (Matthew 22:36-40) and to testify of Him (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe that works of the flesh are useless; that we must be filled with the Holy Spirit (John 15:1-5, Eph 5:16) and that we can only please God by faith (Hebrews 11:6; 1). We believe that we are in spiritual war the Satan and his followers (Eph 6:10-12). We believe that God who is sovereign over the affairs of men will, in the end, grant eternal life to those who have trusted Him and eternal judgment to those hwo have not. We believe that God will create a new heaven, earth and Jerusalem and that we will spend eternity in His presence with great joy and peace and no more tears.
