About Broward Podiatry Associates PA

Dr. Jacobson is a South Florida a native. Born on Miami Beach, growing up in Hollywood in he was one of the first Hollywood Hills High School students to skip the 12th grade go to college a year early. He graduated from University of Miami, cum laude in 1977, University of Florida in 1978, California College of Podiatric Medicine 1979 and graduated in 1983. Completed Podiatric Surgical Residency Plantation, FL in 1984 and open his private practice. In 1992 I underwent surgery for Metastatic Melanoma with an unknown primary, meaning there was no skin lesion found but the cancer had already spread. There was a 10% chance of surviving 1 YEAR, so I retired believing in the prognosis. I came back to my practice in 2001 and have continued to forge unforgettable patient friendships. These experiences made me uniquely understanding of life's challenges. We are challenged to maintain a meaningful quality of life out living loved ones and facing longevity, health & financial challenges.
