About Anna Trauernicht, M.D.

Dr. Anna Trauernicht is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital since 2014. Her favorite part of being a physician is the ability to teach and educate families on the diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately resolve the problem for the child. Dr. Trauernicht received her medical degree from University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. After her brother was diagnosed with a chronic GI issue at a young age, her goal was to do research and help find ways to better treat children with conditions similar to his.
