About African American Youth Leadership Conference Colorado

The African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which is 100% funded by donations and 100% operated by community volunteers. Our mission is to educate, empower, and enlighten youth to become critical thinkers, responsible citizens, and embrace the traditions, histories, and cultures of their communities. Our annual conference provides engaging workshops, entertainment, social confidence and networking. To date, the AAYLC has hosted over 14,000 students, of all ethnicities, in the Pike Peak Region and surrounding areas, and has given over $240,000 in student scholarships. The AAYLC has sustained a rich history that instills high standards and positive moral values in our youth.
